Early Sunday Communion

A service at 8.00 am of Holy Communion with a short sermon using the Book of Common Prayer

Mid-morning Eucharist

The largest regular congregation is a traditional parish congregation for all ages that meets at 9 30am for a service of Sung Eucharist. There are crèche facilities and a Sunday School.
On the fourth Sunday of the month this service includes Prayers for Healing. Within this service, following communion you might want to come for the ministry of Laying on of hands or Anointing; either for you, or someone you know who is in need.

Sunday evenings

The Evening Office is a monthly focus on the Christian pilgrimage, through the tradition of the Offices. It normally alternates between Choral Evensong and Compline, though includes seasonal services such as the Advent Carol Service. ‘The Evening Office’ normally takes place at 6pm on the 1st Sunday of the month, though this is sometimes altered around Christmas and Easter.

A Meditative Eucharist with Prayers for Healing takes place on the 2nd Sunday of the month at Ivy House. This forms part of our ministry of wholeness and healing.

Seven whole days, not one in seven

The Daily Offices

Our daily routine is normally Morning Prayer at 8am in the Minster or Ivy House from Monday to Friday and Holy Communion in the Minster at 9am on Saturdays. This is augmented by Evening Prayer at 7.30pm on the last Wednesday of the month and the monthly Evening Office at 6pm in the Minster, normally on the 1st Sunday of the month.

Wednesday Communion at St Lawrence

A Mid-week Communion takes place at 10am in Saint Lawrence Chapel on Warminster’s High Street which serves a range of people, including those from other Christian communities in the town. This service uses the order from the Book of Common Prayer.

House Eucharists

House Eucharists take place at a number of venues around the parish on Thursdays – please ask a member of the clergy if you’d like more information.

Saturday Eucharist

A quiet and intimate service which many find nurtures their faith and experience of God. This takes place in the Lady Chapel of the Minster at 9am.

Messy Minster

Messy Minster is a new development of our regular Advent and Easter Craft workshops. It is a different way of doing church for ALL ages. Each session is themed and involves craft activities and worship and a shared lunch.
